Aging & Disability Resource Center

  1. 2018 FREE Power of Attorney Event - Open to anyone 55 Years and older and those with a disability determination. Call for appointment.

    October 30, 2018, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM @ Cedarburg Senior Center

An opportunity to meet individually with an Ozaukee County Bar Association Attorney to create your personalized Power of Attorney for Health Care. Why complete Power of Attorney (POA) documents? POAs allow YOU to choose the individual you would want to make decisions for you in the event that you are unable to make them for yourself. If incapacity occurs and you are without one, it will likely be necessary for your family or others to ask the Court to appoint a guardian -a process that can be costly, time-consuming and cumbersome. Call Ozaukee County Human Services for an 30 minute appointment. 262-284-8200 Appointments are required.

    October 30, 2018, 6:00 PM

Parkside Community UCC is taking on a new mission, this mission is to build awareness of human trafficking. This is not just a problem in other parts of the world, but it is happening in all 50 states and in each of Wisconsin’s 72 counties, rural and urban areas and YES, EVEN HERE IN OZAUKEE COUNTY. The average age of sex trafficking victims is kids between the ages of 11 and 13, but they can be kids as young 2 or even adult women and men. The victims vary in ethnic backgrounds and social status. They can even be straight A students, athletes, and the kid next door.
